Majors Fall Ball; 7th – 8th grades
There will be a $1 non-refundable deposit to sign up and reserve a spot. A $20 player fee made out to TBL will be collected at the first practice if enough players sign up. This is a reduced fee since no uniforms or hats will be provided and this is a pilot for this age group.
This will be an informal structure focused on providing boys additional opportunities to play baseball. The league will need at least 22 boys to sign up in order for us to proceed. The format will consist of a one hour combined practice with all the players run by the two coaches jointly. After each practice the boys will be split into two teams to play an official game using the Majors rules. Each week teams will be split differently so it wont be the same two teams each week. Please plan on 3 hours each sunday to participate. Times will most likely be from 9am – 12 based upon field availability.
Majors will be “sand lot” style baseball — no uniforms will be provided. Players are still expected to wear baseball pants, hats, etc.
